Camp Cool Environment 2020!
Join us for a summer of themed activities focusing on nature, science, and the arts. Activities include a weekly swimming trip to Crystal Springs Waterpark in East Brunswick every Thursday, educational field trips, outdoor fun, arts & crafts, indoor games, projects, experiments, and visits to parks & the library. This summer’s camp director is Jewel “Ducky” Soroka.

Camp hours 9:00am-4:30pm.
Before care 8-9am. Aftercare 4:30-5:30pm.

Located in The Cave youth facility in the lower level of the Reformed Church of Highland Park, 19 South 2nd Avenue.

$235 per week. (One exception week #1 is a 3 1/2 day week at $170.)
Before care 8-9am, $25 per week.
After care 4:30-5:30pm, $25 per week.
Drop-in rate for before/after care is $6 per day.
Registration fee $25 is waived if registered before June 1.

Campers bring lunch each day.
Morning & afternoon snacks are provided daily.

Experience life on the farm, gardening, pickling, baking, and everything in between. And meet farm animals on our field trip!
Field trip: Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, Morristown

Week 3: 7/6-7/10 OUTDOOR ADVENTURES
Build a temporary shelter from forest materials, explore trails, and discover more outdoor survival skills.
Field trip: Washington Crossing State Park Nature Center, Titusville

Week 4: 7/13-7/17 SCIENCE WEEK
Become a scientist for the week as you develop hypotheses, perform experiments, and analyze data.
Field trip: Liberty Science Center, Jersey City

Week 5: 7/20-7/24 SUMMER OLYMPICS
Start your training. It’s time to compete in individual and team challenges, camp style!
Field trip: Colonial Park Putting Course & Paddleboats, Somerset

Week 6: 7/27-7/31 AMAZING ANIMALS
Explore the world of animals, from the endangered, to those living in the wild, to service animals, and our favorite pets.
Field trip: Turtle Back Zoo, West Orange

Week 7: 8/3-8/7 UP, UP, AND AWAY
Blast off on our aerospace adventures, as we design and construct things that fly.
Field trip: The Aviation Hall of Fame & Museum of New Jersey, Teterboro

Week 8: 8/10-8/14 THEATER INCLUSION* WEEK
Script writing, song, dance, design, and a performance.

Week 9: 8/17-8/21 COOPERATIVE PLAY INCLUSION* WEEK
Play games and solve challenges by working together to achieve success using every person’s unique skills and strengths.
