POSTPONED, date to be determined…

Join us for an evening of music and dance featuring the Highland Swing Orchestra, a 15 piece big band in the swing era tradition. The swing era, from 1933 to 1947, was a time when big band music was the most popular music in the country. Highland Swing Orchestra brings this almost lost musical tradition back to life in the modern era, performing this music for audiences, many of whom have never heard it before. The Orchestra performs songs from Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Charlie Parker, and even Weather Report and Herbie Hancock for audiences both young and old.

7:30-8:15pm optional dance instruction

8:30-10:30pm Highland Swing Orchestra will play 3 sets of music

$10 admission.
All proceeds benefit the community based programs of Who Is My Neighbor.
